Some of Smith's Places
Smith's Provençale adventures take place (mostly) in and around Arles and the Camargue. All the places mentioned in the books exist and can be visited; as well as many more besides.

There are many guides to visiting of which the traditional Green Michelin Guide to Provence is still the most reliable. Many others, more detailed but not necessarily better, exist.
This is a list of a few of major places that feature in the stories and will serve as good an initial guide as any. Some completely personal remarks are included on the linked pages to each place.
